We formulated Go Deep with a highly effective 8% Mandelic Acid (so it really, really works).
Is it normal to purge with this product?
Purging may occur with any products containing exfoliating ingredients like Mandelic Acid. When introducing these types of ingredients, it’s possible to experience mild “purging” in the first couple of weeks – small breakouts that surface more quickly than usual as skin cell turnover increases.
If this happens, it should be temporary and subside as your skin adjusts. That said, persistent irritation, stinging, or worsening breakouts aren’t expected and should be flagged to us right away.
